Can you hold your liquor?

On a short business trip to Northern Greece in the beginning of summer
we had to “kill time” and so we photographed the bottles in a hotel bar.
There are so many different bottles and the beautiful colors where inviting to take a picture!!!

My opinion is that a photographer is all the time looking out for a subject to
immortalize!!!

Kamera.
Ein Hobby, das allmählich zur Leidenschaft wird!!!

  5. So true! One of the things I love about bars - aside from people-watching - is the array of bottles and all the beautiful colors and reflections. Great photos! I raise a glass to you!

  14. I agree, these photos remind me of a very nice bar in Athens close to the market street or right on the maret street. The illuminated bottles in the night caused that this place looked very pretty

  15. Erstaunlich!

  20. Monika, that is so wonderful and so different. First of all, you made these pictures absolutely stunning. You made an art of it. You created such a beautiful effect of a wonderful light. it comes from everywhere. It makes your images so transparent and light and that is an amazing effect.

And my favorite bottle is Absolute Vodka. Perhaps, of light also.

Great images and fantastic composition. And it's not so easy to create such interesting and amazing images.

Love this photo work a lot.

Hugs and my love to you, dear Monika.

  21. Absolut Vodka Country of Sweden.

Sweden is my country. But I don't drink much of that Vodka. Nowadays I have begun to understand there is a connection between drinking alcohol and hangover.

  22. I agree that those of us who love to take photos start to see the world through a new lens, my lens is clearer now that I've given up what your subject is. I was a bartender/manager for many years, the lifestyle is dangerous is about all I think I'll say on this subject for now.

Have a wonderful day and there sure are tons of variations of alcohol, then start to play around with the mixing and there's literally hundreds of thousands of beverages you can mix up.

  33. I like the comment that a photographer is all the time looking out for a subject to immortalise. Even though I have not always managed to do that, this has definitely been my viewpoint since I started blogging.
