The blue hour

Pláka (Greek: Πλάκα) is the old historical neighborhood of Athens, clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis, and incorporating labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture. Plaka is built on top of the residential areas of the ancient town of Athens.

The night is falling over Plaka and the blue hour begins.

  15. Monika, these are highly creative photographs! Yes, this is blue hour for doves and the streets and a city. You came with a very unique idea and I love it.

Every photograph is a storytelling. The first is very poetic with these two lovely doves, the second made me smile and I wanted to go for an evening walk along this narrow and beautiful street.

Very beautiful and great approach. Fascinating photography!!!!

I send you loving wishes, my dear Monika.

    Hugs from Kaya.

  21. Once you found yourself in the Adrian's Gate area you could have made photos of the Gate itself and the Zeus Columns at walking distance. Ingenious rendition of the dusk hours with "tungsten" white balance settings.
