The Parthenon






The Parthenon illuminated at night.
This temple which has been admired for centuries,
and has become a point of reference for the entire civilized world,
expresses the ideals and greatness of the Athenian Republic.

Ο Παρθενώνας, καθώς φωτίζεται την νύχτα.
Ο ναός αυτός που θαυμάστηκε στους αιώνες κι έγινε σημείο αναφοράς
για όλον τον πολιτισμένο κόσμο, εκφράζει τα ιδεώδη και το μεγαλείο
της Αθηναϊκής Δημοκρατίας.
Der Parthenon in der Nacht beleuchtet.
Dieser seit Jahrhunderten bewunderte Tempel,
der zu einem Bezugspunkt der gesamten zivilisierten Welt geworden ist,
drückte die Ideale und Größe der Athener Republik aus.

  4. Solche Bauwerke zu sehen ist einfach umwerfend, allein die Tatsache zu welcher Zeit und mit welchen Mitteln diese erbaut wurden, ich denke mal, da kommen unsere heutigen nicht mit...

    The Parthenon is so powerful in the nigh with all this heavenly light! Very impressive night photography! I would never ever will be able to create such beauty!
