A song from Hellas

Lord Byron (1788 – 1824)

The isles of Greece, the isles of Greece!
Where burning Sappho loved and sung.
Where grew the arts of war and peace –
Where Delos rose and Phoebus sprung!
Eternal summer gilds them yet,
But all, except their sun, is set.

  1. Wie schön türkisfarben das Meer ist (träum).

Καλό να είσαι να τον προβάλεις με την ματιά σου.

    How are you?
Sorry if i´m away, but you always make part of my thoughts.
I hope one day be close to these beautiful islands. Now it wiill be difficult, i´m a little bit far from Greece. But nothing is impossible.
Enjoy the rest of the summer.
    Lot of kisses!

  20. Ένα σί μπεμόλ έρχεται να προστεθεί στο τραγούδι αυτό. Παράφωνο, πιθανόν...

  21. You seem to have captured war and peace with this set of images. The calm boat, the still sea, the jagged rocks and the angry sea. Well caught wave scenes.
