Lord Byron (1788 – 1824)
From DON JUAN
The isles of Greece, the isles of Greece!
Where burning Sappho loved and sung.
Where grew the arts of war and peace –
Where Delos rose and Phoebus sprung!
Eternal summer gilds them yet,
But all, except their sun, is set.
Wie schön türkisfarben das Meer ist (träum).

Ένα σί μπεμόλ έρχεται να προστεθεί στο τραγούδι αυτό. Παράφωνο, πιθανόν...
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have captured war and peace with this set of images. The calm boat, the still sea, the jagged rocks and the angry sea. Well caught wave scenes.
